2 Marskell’s Berolee Didier Drogba. Black, who I have liked before. He has a lovely kind masculine head and eye of good colour. Lovely reach of neck. Well constructed front with good angles, level topline and tailset. Well muscled hindquarters. Good double coat and otter tail. Moved soundly and covered the ground.

1 Marskell’s Berolee Mack The Knife. This 11 years old chocolate dog is shown in excellent condition and has great ring presence, he has excellent front and rear angles, level topline with his tail straight off his back. He has a pleasing dark coat colour, good pigment and nice brown eyes. His sound movement set the standard for the day.

2 Marskell and Markskell, Berolee Didier Drogba. Another nicely made dog of lovely balance and construction shown in good coat and condition. Unfortunately not the animation both standing and moving as 1 which lost him the 1st.

Puppy Bitch
2 Davis’ Berolee Princess Beatrice At Tanglemead. 11 month black with nice clean features of the skull, good stop and a dark eye. Sufficient reach of neck into a good lay of shoulders but found the front leg a tad short with weak patterns and open toes. Deep chest with good ribcage spring and no weight over the back or tummy. In her profile she has a good rear extension showing off a good turn of stifle. A very good coat which was hard. Level topline with the tail just a little off the top line but held at the correct angle on the move. She paced most of the way around, I gave the exhibitor the option to move again, but was presented with the same flow of movement up until she came towards me where she managed to get in step which was then without fault.

2. Davis’s Berolee Princess Beatrice at Tanglemead. A strong bitch who showed and moved well but she is a bit heavy and short in the front legs. Soft feminine head and a good topline.

2 Marskell’s Berolee Didier Drogba. I also like this one very much, also balanced and a lovely type, good bone depth and width, well muscled and in great condition, just did not handle the heat as well as winner today on final run offs.

2 Ponsford’s Berolee Sweet Chariot at Badgersleigh, well, this old girl is 14 years old, fabulous to see her still enjoying her day in the limelight, showing her age a bit (and who wouldn’t! ) but she is sound enough on the move, correctly put together, good coat, sweet expression, ever wagging tail, a delight and a credit to her owner.
